Winning Impressions
With such a personal theme, and the holidays upon us, it wasn't hard to
select an image to submit to the 2nd Advanced Photography contest of 2006.
More difficult, however, was to imagine my image being selected as a winner.
So many wonderful photos were submitted, and the quality was the highest
I've seen in an SOAPhoto contest to date. It is indeed a great honor to
chosen as one of the winners, and I appreciate the recognition of my work.
I am looking forward to receiving the prize camera, and am excited to put it
through its paces. Thanks SOA!

Winning Impressions
I was surprised when I opened the advanced amateur contest and saw my picture
among the three chosen for the second advanced amateur contest.
I really did not think I had a chance with the amount of talented photographers
who entered the contest. Although I felt this way I told myself that I would
not give up and did my best effort. I would like to thank SOAphoto administrators
for choosing my picture to be among the three winners and for creating such a
creative website to learn and share photography with others.
I would also like to thank the talented group of members here at SOAphoto for
their support and without them I would have never been able to improve my
photography skills.

A Grandmother is so thankful to have her first grandchild home from the
hospital after being born. The grandchild holds grandmothers' hand showing
