| The Painted Hills are about40 miles east of Prineville, OR. The Scenery is spectacular and amazingly there are not usually hordes of people...If you go in the spring there are awesome wildflowers, as well. I am hoping to go out there when they are in bloom (guessing April/May but I'll have to do some research)... |

| Hi - First, thanks again for sharing the pepper ode - I decided to find out a little more about the person behind the words and pix so I started reading your journals - I am relatively new to photography after 60 years of living and 37 years of teaching math to middle schoolers - I'll be going back to your journals because not only are they well written, they are a learning experience for me - Congrats on becoming a lab assistant - speaks well of your work and dedication - can't wait for your first artistic endeavor of pix and prose to be published!!!
